Ready for any situation
What should you do when you are faced with a bar patron who is too drunk to drive, yet refuses to take a cab home? What about when a minor attempts to purchase a drink with a fake ID? Or, when an intoxicated individual gets obnoxious and offends people around him or her.
Sticky situations come up when serving alcohol and as a bartender you have a responsibility to take the appropriate action.
Cape Cod School of Bartending graduates are better prepared for situations they might encounter on the job with TIPS. TIPS (Training for Intervention Procedures) is globally recognized as the preferred training system for servers of alcohol. You’ll learn how to responsibly sell and serve alcohol as well as the skills needed to prevent intoxication, drunk driving, and underage drinking.
TIPS certification will give you the knowledge and confidence to effectively do your job. Potential employers will know you can safely serve alcohol in their establishment. Since restaurateurs receive discounts on their liability insurance for hiring TIPS certified employees, you’ll be a more desirable job candidate. |
